Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (Concussion) Resources

NEW Concussion Guidelines are Available!

Most concussion guidelines focus on athletes, leaving all other students unsupported.

Colorado's updated REAP (Remove/Reduce, Educate, Adjust/Accommodate, Pace) manual provides schools, families, and medical providers with tools like TACT (Teacher Acute Concussion Tool) and features the Colorado School Concussion Management Flow Chart for comprehensive guide to concussion management!

Are your district's guidelines up-to-date and equitable?  Use the Points of Vulnerability tool, from Get Schooled on Concussions, to find out!

Join me for a brief but impactful presentation on "Introduction to Concussion Guidelines" on January 14th 2025 at 2pm.  We will have an overview of the concussion guidelines featured in U.S. News & World Report  that are nationally recognized and have evidence-based strategies to support ALL students, not just athletes! Flyer for Into to Concussion guidelines
